Similar to the work on my Event Horizon image, but this was made to be part of a blog bar on a theme for my more chaotic re-blogging blog. www.StealthCrispies.tumblr.com I really like whalers and I’m trying to go quite space themed with both of my blogs! I love these sort of colors :3
I’ve been playing a game called Pathologic recently, its interesting, I love the character designs, though I seem to have got a little off track with some of these drawings, they seem to have become become head canon type doodling of mine.
Crayolas on hand stained ‘aged coffee paper. (my house smelt like baked coffee for days).
It’s October! Black cats are often associated with being spooky, but this means they have a negative stereotype associated with them.
Some people take the color of the cat into heavy consideration when looking for a new companion. This also goes for dogs! It’s a sad fact that black dogs and cats have a hard time finding homes.
To celebrate the awesomeness of black kitties, we would like to do a little showcase of black adoptable kitties! We also want to adopt to some shelters that are taking care of black kitties! If you would like to nominate a kitty, please reblog with a link, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
My winter project. Got it for free from an old guy who had it just sitting in his front garden. He told me it came off an old fishing boat that was being restored and he kept it, but before that it came from an army base, though it had been re-painted, its peeling now though. Its going to need a lot of work and a lot of love, the old rope handles have rotted out but I’m really looking forwards to working on this!
J.K Rowling said that her inspiration for Hagrid came from when she was 19 in a pub in the west country and this terrifying looking guy came in with these other biker guys and the only thing he talked to J.K about was how his cabbages were getting on
I got asked where in my room the Whaler doll lives.
Well he lives on a pile of books on one side of my desk, but he shares the space with a very old and very wise Plague Doctor called Serge, who is a very very old OC of mine.
The Doctor’s presence in drawings and places helped me get through the darker times of high school and college, when I felt I was loosing everything really badly back then.(and I still turn to him for help when I feel like I cant handle stuff even now) Though it was only a couple years ago that I gave Serge a physical form because he became a little neglected from my drawings….He was also the first doll I ever made… The Whaler well..he just lurks about and likes to torment my cat.
So yes, This is where the Whaler lives and that is his room mate. (They do argue sometimes over space but mostly get along fine!)
Well I was asked if I have any animal OC that I RP anywhere and the answer is yes I do have two OC that I used to RP (I’m a little retired from it now.) But I do still doodle them from time to time as they make a nice break from always drawing my human OCs. (Though these two do actually have alternate human forms, maybe I shall draw them sometime.)
This has been a personal project of mine for the last week and a bit. I finally felt in the mood to start stitching again and I really love the Whalers from Dishonored. So much so that I wanted one of my own to sit upon my desk and guard my stuff for me when I’m not here.
Materials Used : Papermache, acrylic paint (for the mask) Leatherette, cream faux suede, light brown cotton drill, white velvet, and real leather for the two belts. The doll was completely hand sewn, stuffed with polyester allergen free stuffing and stands about 14 inches from heel to head. Hes probably the biggest of all the soft doll I’ve made so far.
Also No, I’m not selling him or giving out my patterns, so please do not ask me to.
